PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: August 19, 2026
SweeperCreeper is a free game with no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no sale of data. This page lists the little it does store, and why.
On your device
Your progress, settings, statistics, and daily streak are saved in your browser's (or the app's) local storage. They never leave your device unless you join the leaderboard or use a share button. Deleting the app or clearing site data erases them; the in-game Reset all data button does the same.
The daily leaderboard (optional)
If you choose a handle and post a score, we store on our server (Cloudflare Workers KV):
- the handle you typed (please keep it clean — we filter slurs),
- a random player ID generated on your device (not derived from you or your hardware, and never shown to anyone),
- your score, board completion, best combo, and time for that day.
Your IP address is never stored. To rate-limit submissions we keep a daily counter keyed to a salted, one-way hash of it, discarded about a day later and never attached to your score. Leaderboard entries are per-day and fall out of view when the day rolls over. To remove an entry or your handle, contact us and include the handle and date.
Website analytics
The website uses Cloudflare's cookieless, aggregate web analytics (page counts, country, browser). It does not identify you, and it is not present in the iOS app.
Sharing features
Share buttons hand text (your score card or a challenge link) to the share sheet on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere until you pick a destination yourself.
Children
The game has no gambling, no purchases and no prizes, and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be called out in the game's "what's new" notes.
